A teenager from Newton Park was killed on Thursday night in a road accident in Cape Road, Port Elizabeth.
Police captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg has identified the victim as 17 year-old Keenan Erasmus.
Van Rensburg says he was riding his motorbike up Cape Road in the direction of William Moffett when he struck a beetle travelling in the opposite direction as it turned into 3rd Avenue Newton Park.
Van Rensburg says the woman driving the beetle was not injured in the accident which happened around 8pm.
