Police in Port Elizabeth has arrested a 28-year-old taxi driver who allegedly fled the scene of a horrific accident on Monday night.
Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the man allegedly jumped a red robot in Kempston Road before hitting a light motor vehicle.
Two women were killed and one was injured and taken to the hospital.
It has since been confirmed that the victims were all members of Atlas Security in Port Elizabeth.
Marketing Manager for Atlas Wayne Hart says the women were on their way to work the night shift at their control room in the city.
The deceased have been identified as the 19-year-old Micayla Victor and the 21-year-old Celine De Ridder.

Hart expressed his heartfelt condolences to friends and family of the deceased.
He described the mood at the office as sombre.
Colonel Naidu says the driver is expected to appear in court on Tuesday on two charges of culpable homicide.
She says he was arrested in the early hours of the morning.
