PE schoolboy run over by unlicensed taxi driver

Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a school boy was run over by an unlicensed taxi driver.

Police spokesperson, Constable Mcedi Mbombo, says six-year-old Amyoli Krala-Krala was killed in Kwazakhele on Monday afternoon.

He says the driver of the mini-bus taxi was arrested.

Mbombo says he faces charges of culpable homicide and driving without a valid license.

He will appear in court soon.
