The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality has warned residents, currently affected by the water supply problems, to switch off their empty geysers to avoid damage.
Metro spokesperson, Kupido Baron says the appeal last night, came as work on repairing two broken pipes on a major feeder line continues.
The pipes failed in the early hours of Thursday morning, leaving the Metro with a water crisis as resevoirs ran dry.
The Municipality has once again appealed to residents to use water sparingly and not to fill containers at their homes as it affects the municipality's call for water conservation over the next couple of days.
