PE police seek assistance in tracing missing teenager

The Port Elizabeth Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is urgently seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 17-year-old teenage girl, who went missing in Bethelsdorp on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson, Col Priscilla Naidu says according to their information, Logan Butteress was dropped off after school in William Slammert Road by her lift club - which was not far from her home in  Siyazama Street in Timothy Valley.

Naidu says she was still in her Westview High School uniform.

She says Logan did not go home and that was the last time anyone had seen her.

Naidu says her parents reported her missing that same evening.

Anyone who can assist in tracing Butteress, or may have any information about her whereabouts, is asked to contact their nearest police station.
