Port Elizabeth police are on a manhunt for two suspects following a hi-jacking and armed robbery on Monday.
Police spokesperson, captain Stanley Jarvis, says cigarettes valued at R175 000 was taken from a British American Tobacco employee, who was off-loading stock at a Cash and Carry in West End.
Jarvis says the armed men abducted the employee, but later freed him when they transfered the 700 cartons into another vehicle and fled.
Police are investigating a case of armed robbery and hi-jacking.
