Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating a case of armed robbery which allegedly took place on Thursday evening at St Georges Beach.
Police Spokesperson Constable Mncedi Mbombo says a 47 year old man and a 24 year old woman were both sitting in his car when the lady needed to go to the toilet.
The victim says he was accosted by two armed men who dragged him our of his vehicle and locked him in the boot of his car.
The unknown men who were allegedly armed with a gun and panga, fled the scene with the victim's car keys, shoes and R1 200 in cash.
The woman is still missing since the incident.
Mbombo says anybody with information that may help the police in arresting the suspects and finding the missing woman can contact the police
