Shows at the Klein Karoo National Arts Festival had to cancel yesterday for a period of time after heavy rains and thunderstorms in Oudtshoorn.
Executive Head at the KKNK, Rhodé Snyman told Algoa Fm News flooding took place in certain areas.
The kykNET Music stage in the festival terrain closed for the night while the Zoid Africa Afskop concert had to be postponed for an hour.
Three other theatre shows were affected due to the weather.
Snyman says all shows will be back to normal for Saturday as the midday high is expected to reach 28 degrees with no rain predicted.
