Police in Port Elizabeth are looking for three armed men who robbed a house in Summerstrand on Thursday.
Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the men climbed through an open bedroom window at about 3 am and surprised two teenagers in their room.
She says the men threatened them with knives before stealing a TV, laptop, phones and other personal belongings.
Naidu says the complainants left the window open due to the hot weather.
Nobody else in the house was injured.
Police urged holidaymakers and businesses to be more vigilant, especially during the festive season.
Naidu says criminals are constantly lurking around looking for an opportunity.
