PE police issue warning following another liquor store robbery

Port Elizabeth police have issued a warning to liquor store owners following a spate of robberies in recent weeks.

Police spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder, says three men, who were armed with rifles, robbed a Tops Liquor Store at Five Ways on Monday night.

He says the gang struck just before closing, fleeing with money and liquor.

Rheeder says one suspect was arrested and a firearm recovered.
