Members of Port Elizabeth's police's public order unit have their hands full on Tuesday with no less than three seperate protests taking place throughout Nelson Mandela Bay.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Alwin Labans, says police are keeping an eye on students at the Russel Road college who are protesting for the second day over the non-payment of transport funds.
He says police are also monitoring a protest by Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality security officials.
Labans says public order police members have also been keeping the lid on a service delivery protest in Kwanoxolo, where residents have been toyi-toying since Tuesday morning.
He says the protests have been peaceful and police haven't needed to take any action.
