Port Elizabeth police say arrests will follow soon following a gang related shooting in Bloemendal this weekend in which 23-year old Craig Jacobs was killed.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Alwin Labans, says eight shots were fired in Lodewyk Street on Saturday morning.
Jacobs was with a friend when they were approached by two men who opened fire on them. His friend managed to escape unharmed.
Labans says police are investigating a case of murder.
Meanwhile, Port Elizabeth police have arrested a suspect following a house-robbery in Millpark.
Police spokesperson, captain Johan Rheede, says the incident happened after noon on Monday.
He says police recovered stolen items as well as a firearm.
