The Confederation of African Football says security in Port Elizabeth needs to be bolstered for the remainder of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The continental body's disciplinary board filed a warning to DR Congo after two Congolese fans ran onto the pitch at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in their Group B clash against Ghana on Sunday.
The Federation said in a statement that it had also sent a warning letter to the local organising committee advising them that they need to reinforce security in Port Elizabeth.
Nelson Mandela hosts a double-header on Thursday.
Ghana play Mali at 5pm followed by Niger against DR Congo at 8.
