Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating a case of murder following the death of a 42-year old Nelson Mandela Bay Municipal employee.
Police spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder says Andrew Brown, working for Fidelity security company, was shot last night at Drift Sands Waterworks in Humewood.
Rheeder says a 40-year old suspect has been arrested and is due to appear in court on Thursday.
Meanwhile police in Mthatha are investigating a case of murder following the death of a 24-year old woman who was allegedly stabbed by her boyfriend.
Police spokesperson, Lt Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela says the incident took place Tuesday night in Mqonci Locality in Nqcobo.
A 33-year old man was arrested and is due to appear in the Nqobo Magistrates court on Thursday.
