 Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of attempted murder following a suspected gang-related shooting in Schauderville.

Police spokesperson, warrant officer Alwin Labans says a 28-year old man was shot in Glendenning Street on Thursday night.

He says the victim sustained stomach wounds and was rushed to hospital.

Labans says it is alleged that the victim came out of a house when several shots rang out.

He says the two suspects fled on foot.
