PE man wounded in gang shooting

 A Port Elizabeth man will spend his New Years eve in hospital following a shooting incident in West End on Wednesday.

Police Spokesperson Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says the incident happened near a barber shop in Bede Street.

Eleven shots were fired hitting the victim in his buttocks and legs.

Labans says they are looking for two suspects in their twenties and confirmed that the incident was gang related
