Port Elizabeth police are searching for three men who robbed a bank client in Kempston Road on Monday.
Spokesperson, Capt. Johan Rheeder says a 36-year old man was on his way to deposit a substantial amount of money, when he was stopped by the men in front of the bank's door.
He says a shot was fired to distract the man, and the robbers took the cash, before fleeing in a black Volkswagen Jetta with false number plates.
No-one was injured.
Meanwhile, police are also searching for 4 armed suspects, after a shop was robbed in Greenbushes, Port Elizabeth.
Rheeder says the robbers entered the shop, and demanded cash from the owner.
He says the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a white Isuzu bakkie.
