Three people have been arrested following a house robbery in Kabega Park, Port Elizabeth, on Christmas Day.
Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the victim and one of the suspects were partying together at his house till the early hours of the morning.
The friend left but later returned with two other men and kicked open the front door.
The victim tried to stop them but was stabbed in the hand with a knife.
Members of the community saw the suspects running down the street with stolen items and gave chase.
They will appear in court soon
