Port Elizabeth police are searching for a gunman who fatally wounded a 33-year-old man in a drive-by shooting.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said Jonathan Groves was standing outside a house in 3rd Avenue, Windvogel, on Saturday afternoon with some friends when a car approached.
“The passenger in the VW Polo leaned out of the window and fired several shots at the group. Groves sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died on the way to hospital,” Naidu said.
She said a case of murder is under investigation.
