A Port Elizabeth man is expected to appear in court today for allegedly raping a teenage girl in a church in the suburb of Parkside.
Police said the incident happened on Friday night when the 17 year old girl and another woman were preparing the church for a youth evening.
Its alleged that the suspect had asked for water and when he was let in through a security gate he allegedly used a knife to threaten the women.
He tied up the 22 year old before taking the teen to the bathroom where she was allegedly raped.
The suspect was arrested on Friday.
