A 35 year old George motorist who ploughed into 12 children while being chased by police, will appear in court today.
He faces charges of negligent and reckless driving, drunken driving and driving without a license.
Police said the man was being chased through Conville by police who suspected that he was driving under the influence.
Spokesperson, Malcolm Pojie, says he hit 12 youngsters before his car crashed into a wall.
He says most of the children were treated and discharged from hospital but two remain in hospital.
