Jeffreys Bay liquor store robbed at gunpoint

Eastern Cape police are searching for 5 suspect, after a liquor store was robbed in Pellsrus, Jeffreys Bay on Saturday afternoon.

Police spokesperson, Lt-Col Priscilla Naidu says five men entered the store as it was closing.

She says three of the men had firearms and robbed the store, while two stood guard at the entrance.

Naidu says the suspects fled the scene in a black VW Polo or Golf.

They took a large amount of cash, 4 cellphones, and liquor.
