A 24-year-old Port Elizabeth man is due to appear in court on Wednesday after the body of a 37-year-old man was found in his home in Malabar on Monday.
The suspect was arrested on the same day by police who were investigating the theft of a luxury German car.
Police said upon further investigation, detectives were led to a house in Crammer Street in Malabar, where they found a 66-yer-old woman who had been assaulted.
They also found the body of 37-year-old Bhaven Moodley, who appeared to have been strangled.
Police are investigating the possibility that the suspect could be linked to the murder as well as a case of house robbery.
