Police in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth, are investigation of a case of murder.
This, after a 30-year-old man who was shot dead in Ferguson Street, New Brighton, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police spokesperson, Constable Mcedi Mbombo, says it's alleged that the victim was shot by a number of unknown suspects at around 2am.
He says the man, who was not yet identified, had several bullet wounds on on the head, neck and upper body.
Mbombo says the motive for the murder is not known and no arrests have been made.
