The Port Elizabeth gang unit is investigating a murder and attempted murders following a suspected gang-related shooting incident in Schauderville in Port Elizabeth's northern areas on Sunday.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Pricilla Naidu says one man was killed and two others wounded.
She says the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident is not known at this stage.
Naidu says the man who was killed was shot in the chest and the other two, aged 23 and 28, are in a critical condition in hospital.
No arrests have been made.
The name of the victim has not yet been released by police.
