A 30-year-old man from Gelvandale in Port Elizabeth was gunned down in his fiance's shack on Sunday morning.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says Ryno Tamboer, who was alone in the house at the time, was shot multiple times.
According to information, the incident happened shortly after midnight when a suspect kicked open the door.
Naidu says Tamboer is not affiliated with any gangs and the motive of the killing is unknown at this stage.
Police are also investigating a case of attempted murder after a 20-year-old man, who was inside his house, was shot in the eye.
Naidu says the victim was with his friends in a house in Reynecke Street when shots were fired at the house.
The Gang Unit is investigating a case of attempted murder.
Naidu says the victim was also not affiliated with any gangs but the suspects are affiliated to the "16 Honde" gang.
