PE man found murdered in veld

Port Elizabeth police are investigating a murder case, following the discovery of the body of an unknown man in an area between Schauderville and Newton Park.

Spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder says the body had a bullet wound to the head, and was found by a passer-by in a footpath on Friday morning.

He says a passerby made the discovery in a veld behind the police's new radio control centre.

Rheeder says the victim was in his 20's, and the motive for the attack is unknown.
