A prominent George dentist, who was convicted and sentenced last year for performing sexual acts on a minor, made a brief appearnce in the city's magistrate's court on Friday morning.
Its alleged that he had sexually assaulted a 12 year old boy while serving his four year house arrest sentence which was handed down in December.
The 43-year-old father of three, who cannot be named until he has pleaded, was arrested by members of the George Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses unit in connection with the incident on April 17.
He's out on bail of R5 000 on condition that no children under 16 enters his home.
The case was postponed to July 10 for further investigation.
