Thirty-three year old Xolile Tose was found guilty in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Wednesday of the brutal rape of a six-year old girl over a 15 hour-period two years ago.
The attack was so brutal that the child, now eight years old, has to wear a colostomy bag.
Throughout his trial, Tose continually denied having anything to do with the attack on the girl in Motherwell.
The little girl was six years old when she was abducted by 33-year-old Xolile Tose.
He brutally raped and sodomised the child, now eights years old.
The little girl was also ostracised at school because of the colostomy bag she was forced to wear because of the internal damage, that she has not been to school since.
Now, she will undergo reconstructive surgery, thanks to the kindness of some local doctors who are offering their services for free.
The NGO, Section 27, is also taking up her case to get her reinstated in another school.
Sentencing proceedings are expected to get underway this afternoon.
