A 20-year-old Port Elizabeth man has died in a hail of bullets in another gang-related shooting in the northern areas.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says the victim was shot dead by two men in front of a house in Kobus Road in Gelvandale on Sunday afternoon.
She says police who responded to the shooting came under attack from the community who damaged two police vehicles.
Meanwhile, Janse Van Rensbrug, says members of the Tactical Response Team and Gelvandale police arrested two men seperately for being in the possession of illegal firearms.
She says they will also investigate a possible link to the Kobus Road shooting.
