Port Elizabeth police have opened an inquest docket after the body of a 36-year old man was found in his car outside the Virgin Active Gym at Greenacres on Monday night.
Police captain Stanley Jarvis says Pete Turner had got into his car at around 7 pm after working out at the gym with his training partner.
He was found dead in his car a short while later.
Police suspect that Turner died of a heart attack.
An autopsy will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
