Port Elizabeth police have arrested three suspects for allegedly beating a man to death in Walmer.
Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg says it is alleged that the suspects arrived at Nkosikona Mandeka's house in Walmer township on Friday evening, and demanded to see him.
She says they accused Mandeka of stealing clothes from a washing line, then dragged him from the house and assaulted him.
He was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The three suspects, aged between 21 and 27 will appear in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court on Monday.
