PE man arrested with 8 unlicensed fire arms

 A 36 year old man from Port Elizabeth was arrested on Tuesday night for the illegal possession of several fire arms.

Spokesperson Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says they raided his house in Church Road Walmer, after they received a tip-off from the public.

Labans says police seized eight firearms including pistols, a shotgun and hunting rifles.

The man, who's originally from the Free State, will appear in court on Thursday.
