In another incident, PE Flying Squad and K9 Unit members followed up on information received about the manufacture of drugs at a house in Lakeside Road in Theescombe in the Kabega Park area.
The premises were raided around 3 pm on Sunday and members confiscated 78 dagga plants, 120 syringes of dagga oil, 10 bottles of liquid which were in the manufacturing process, as well as containers used in the processing of the oils.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says members dug up some of the bottles of oil that had been buried in the ground.
A 53-year-old man was arrested and detained on charges of dealing and possession of drugs.
