Port Elizabeth police have arrested a 33-year-old man in Kleinskool and confiscated thousands of mandrax tablets and tik.
Spokesperson, Colonel Pricilla Naidu says the suspect was arrested on Friday evening during an intelligence-driven operation.
She says the team swooped on a house in Liberation Street, and during a search, 7 585 mandrax tablets, as well as 303 grams of tik, were confiscated.
The total estimated value of the mandrax is R379 000 and the tik R32 000.
Naidu says the owner of the house was arrested.
She says police also confiscated a Corsa bakkie, cellphones and a computer hard drive for further investigation.
The man will appear in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of dealing in drugs.
