The Community Service Centre at the Humewood police station in Port Elizabeth has been closed after a member tested positive for Covid-19.
National police spokesperson, Brigadier Vish Naidoo says the member went for a test and the results were positive.
He says she is now in self-isolation.
Naidoo says 10 members will be sent for tests and are also in self-isolation.
He says the Centre has been moved to an office at Hobie Beach in Marine Drive and arrangements have been made for the CSC to be decontaminated.
Brigadier Naidoo says service delivery is not hampered in any way, as there is sufficient manpower to assist until these members return to work.
