PE learner traumatised by daylight robbery

A young Port Elizabeth schoolgirl studying for her matric exams has been left traumatised after two men broke down the door of her parents Cotswold Extension home in broad daylight.

Police spokesperson, captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says the terrified girl did not open the front door but locked herself in her bedroom when one of the men knocked.

However, she did notice another suspect in a Maroon Toyota Tazz in the driveway.

Janse van Rensburg says after breaking down the front door them helped themselves to two flat screen TV's and other goods before fleeing.

The girl was not harmed.

Janse Van Rensburg says anyone who can assist with information on the car or the suspects should contact their nearest police station.
