PE homeowner in hospital following home invasion

A Port Elizabeth home-owner is in hospital after being severely assaulted during a home-invasion early on Saturday morning.

Police said the 58-year-old had been beaten and stabbed by four men in his Rowallan Park home.

Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says a boarder was also stabbed in the leg.

She says the ransacked the house before fleeing with household goods.

The suspects remain at large.
