Six men are due to appear in court on Monday for being in possession of endangered cycads worth more than half-a-million rand.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli, says the men were arrested on the R-75 just outside Uitenhage on Thursday night.
He said police were tipped off about the alleged theft of cycads from a farm near Kirkwood.
