The two Port Elizabeth men, who were killed in a gyrocopter crash in Uitenhage on Wednesday afternoon, would have both celebrated their birthday's next month.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart, identified them as 49-year old Kent Forster and 30-year old Shaun Mulder.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha, says when officials arrived at the scene in dense bush near the Uitenhage airfield, they found that a gyrocopter had crashed and burst into flames.
Their bodies were were burnt beyond recognition and were removed from the site by Wednesday night..
The crash comes just ahead of the Wings and Wheels festival which takes place there from Thursday.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the civil aviation authority.
