Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating a murder after a gang member was shot and killed in Bethelsdorp on Thursday night.
Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the 26-year-old Claude Goliath was getting into his vehicle in Bardien Avenue in Bloemendal when two unknown men started shooting at him.
Goliath managed to get into his car and drove off with his three passengers.
Naidu says he soon lost control over his vehicle and collided into another car, before slamming into a wall.
Goliath sustained a gunshot wound in his head and neck.
