A 21-year-old Port Elizabeth gang member who was wanted on a murder charge has handed himself over to police.
Police spokesperson says the suspect presented himself to investigators at the Provincial Gang Investigation Unit on Wednesday afternoon.
She said the young man was wanted in connection with the murder of 35-year-old Randy Van Reenen, who as gunned down on Sunday afternoon outside a house in Libra Street in Gelvandale.
Naidu said the suspect was one of two men who became involved in an argument with the men before one of them pulled out a gun and shot him in the head.
The suspect will appear in the Port Elizabeth magistrates' court on Friday.
