Police divers will on Thursday morning continue to search for two men, who went missing in the sea at Wells Estate in Port Elizabeth.
According to the NSRI, two teenagers and a 20-year-old man went swimming when they got swept away by rip currents early on Wednesday night.
The 18-year-old Simphiwe Kweleta and his 17-year-old brother Olwethu later washed onto the shore.
Olwethu was not injured, however, his brother Simphiwe was given CPR but was later declared deceased.
Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says they are still looking for the 20-year-old Chevandre Koert from Rosedale in Uitenhage who got swept out to sea with the Kweleta brothers.
He says they are also still searching for the 28-year-old Tresven Jantjies who launched into the surf to try and help the men before he too disappeared in the water.
The body of Simphiwe Kweleta, who hails from Motherwell, was handed over to the Government's Health Pathology Services.
