A forty-seven-year-old Port Elizabeth cyclist is in a critical condition, after he was attacked while riding along Victoria Road in Walmer on Saturday.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says the critically injured man was transported privately to a local hospital, and was later transfered to the intensive care unit.
Meanwhile, a second cyclist was attacked in Walmer late on Saturday.
Police spokesperson, Capt Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the incident happened near 9th avenue in Heugh Road.
She said the age and condition of the victim were not known.
