Police in Port Elizabeth have identified another two of the four people who were shot execution-style on Tuesday.
All four bodies were found in the Walmer Township,
Police were patrolling in Yoyo Street when they saw four people lying in a field next to a gravel road. On closer observation, it was found that all four of them sustained gunshot wounds to the head.
Two women and one man were declared dead on the scene and the fourth victim, also a woman, is fighting for her life in hospital.
Police Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says they managed to identify the woman in hospital but her name is being withheld to protect her.
The male victim was identified as the 23-year-old Sinethemba Dumezweni and one of the female deceased were identified as the 24-year-old Sisipho Pongolo.
Janse van Rensburg says they still do not know the name of the last female victim and investigations continue.
