Two Port Elizabeth police members will appear in court on Monday for allegedly aiding and abetting a woman to escape from police custody.
Police Captain Andre' Beetge says a 53-year-old Warrant Officer and 58-year-old Sergeant will face charges of corruption, aiding and abetting the escape from lawful custody and defeating the ends of justice.
He says their arrest came after an alert was issued on Thursday when a 28 year old murder suspect, Lungiswa Tsenge, could not be accounted for.
He says anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of Tsenge should contact the Kwazakhele police.
