A man was shot dead and 5 others were wounded in various gang-related shootings in Port Elizabeth's northern areas on Saturday.
Police spokesperson, Capt Johan Rheeder says a 26-year old man was shot dead by unknown attackers in Gelvendale.
He says police found several spent cartridges at the scene,
On Saturday evening, a woman was wounded in the hand, and a man was shot in the back, in another shooting in Gelvendale.
Both are in hospital.
Rheeder says in another incident late on Saturday afternoon, an attacker fired several shots at three occupants of a Toyota Tazz.
He says all three were wounded - one of them critically.
No arrests have yet been made.
