In passing sentence on Tuesday, Magistrate Johannes Claassen, jailed Webb for 15 years on each of the three counts of fraud he faced.

He was also sentenced to 15 years on one count of corruption.

Claassen ordered the sentences to run concurrently.

Webb's two businesses, which are dormant without any assets, were fined R100 000 which was suspended for five years.
