PE businessman gunned down in broad daylight- no arrests

Eastern Cape police are still searching for two suspects who gunned down a Port Elizabeth businessman in Burt Drive on Monday afternoon.

Spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans, says 48-year old Rajen Naidoo was standing in the street, speaking to another man, when he was attacked by the men.

He says Naidoo was shot 8 times, and he died at the scene.

Labans says the other man was not attacked, and he escaped unharmed.

The motive for the attack is not known.
