PE business woman sentenced to ten years in prison

The business partner and co-accused of missing Port Elizabeth businessman Amir Moosagie has been sentenced to 10 yrs direct imprisonment for racketeering plus 10 years for fraud, forgery and money laundering.
The sentences will run concurrently.
Desiree Jenkins was sentenced in the PE High Court this morning on the charges involving more than R3 million.
Moosagie disappeared in mysterious circumstances on Christmas Day last year while on holiday in Port St Johns.
His bail order of R30 000 was subsequently cancelled.
